Depression Therapy
Depression Therapy refers to professional treatment designed to help individuals manage and recover from depression—a mood disorder marked by persistent sadness, loss of interest, fatigue, changes in sleep or appetite, and difficulty functioning in daily life.
It aims to address both the emotional symptoms (e.g., hopelessness, guilt, low motivation) and the underlying causes, which may include biological, psychological, and social factors.

The goal of depression therapy is to improve mood, restore daily functioning, develop coping skills, and reduce the likelihood of relapse. In Canada, treatment may be delivered by psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, counsellors, or psychiatrists, and is often evidence-based.
