I am a registered social worker licensed to practice in Ontario, with over 17 years of experience as a culturally responsive, trauma-informed therapist and educator. I am dedicated to supporting underserved children, youth, individuals, families, and communities. My practice approach is deeply rooted in cultural awareness and sensitivity, ensuring that each client feels truly understood and respected. I employ a personalized and eclectic approach to trauma healing, integrating a diverse range of techniques.

My work is focused on enhancing social, emotional, and physical well-being within the unique cultural contexts of my clients. Trained by Ncazelo Ncube, co-developer of the Tree of Life narrative therapy methodology. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (trauma-informed), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, Camille offers a holistic approach to healing. Furthermore, as a grief and bereavement therapist trained by world-renowned expert David Kessler.

I am constantly enhancing my therapeutic toolkit. Currently pursuing certification in EMDR, I am dedicated to continually expanding my expertise to better serve clients, a testament to an unwavering commitment to professional growth and development. I hold a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Toronto and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Windsor. In the fall of 2024, I will embark on a Social Justice doctoral program at the University of Toronto, where my research is dedicated to trauma-informed interventions. Focusing particularly on the efficacy of the Tree of Life program in alleviating Racial Battle Fatigue symptoms experienced by Black women in higher Education, a topic of significant importance and relevance in the field of mental health.
