I am a dedicated and compassionate social worker with a profound commitment to foster positive change in individuals and communities. Iam a Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience, holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfred Laurier University. An honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Guelph. I am is licensed to practice in Ontario and credentialed with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. I hold a specialization in Trauma, Race based Trauma and Trauma Informed Care.

Throughout my career I have demonstrated exceptional leadership and a proficiency in case management supervision, counselling and community outreach. I have trained and supervised social workers, child and youth workers and Behavioral therapist. I have collaborated with various organizations and government agencies to develop and implement programs that address the unique challenges faced by vulnerable population within Ontario. I have provided guidance, support and encouragement to adolescent and new therapist as they navigate the complexities of life with confidence and competence. I am the recipient of the Ontario School Social Worker of the Year Award. 

I am committed to continuous learning and professional development which is reflected in my active involvement in workshops, seminars and ongoing educational opportunities within the field of social work. I have been an active participant in the professional development training circuit in the field of Race Based Trauma. Iam a published coauthor of “The Widom Project”
